The kids found and caught a lizard (with the help of Dad of course) in our backyard, coming out of the back wall. They were so excited! They really wanted to keep him, so we made a home for him out of our fish tank, that was not being used at the moment. We let them keep him for a few days then we had them tell him good-bye, before we let him go home. I felt bad for the poor thing. It's tail was growing back from some type of altercation as well as other marks that showed that it had been through a lot.
Dave had me get the camera so they could have pictures for show and tell.
As you can tell they had a great time holding him or her (we're not so sure about that part). Even Alysa had her turn and loved it!
Now comes the part to let it go! We all headed to the back wall.
